Inthetechnology,aseriesofbiotin-labeledprobesaremadebasedontheconsensussequencesofTFDNA-bindingsites. Whentheprobemixincubateswiththecelllysate,individualprobeswillfinditscorrespondingTFandformTF/probecomplexes,whichcanbeeasilyseparatedfromfreeprobesthroughsimplespincolumnpurification.
